BCFF Launches in Austria

June 19, 2023 (Austria): Newly born NGO based in Oberndorf, Austria, Blue Chip Future Fund (BCFF) is launched today. BCFF is an effort to extensively support outstanding teenagers in economically and politically dysfunctional countries, to help form a generation of leaders capable of driving systemic change.

The founding team consists of three individuals with different backgrounds and the same passion for driving change. CEO and Co-Founder, Peter Schweigerer is originally from Austria. In 2013 Peter studied at Jiyana High School in Tembisa, South Africa as an exchange student. After obtaining his bachelor's degree from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, he moved to the United States to pursue a career in finance. Ever since his time in South Africa, he felt a strong connection to the country. Eventually, his urge to give back to those who once welcomed him with open arms culminated in founding Blue Chip Future Fund.

Palesa Mathang, Co-Founder and Head of Education graduated from Baccalaureus Technologiae with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. After finishing her studies, she discovered her love for teaching and developed a desire to help many. She recently made the transition to become an educator and obtained a postgraduate certificate in education.

Michael Hinterreiter, COO and Co-Founder of BCFF recently received his master's degree in Environment and Bio-Resources Management. Through his involvement in transdisciplinary research and renewable energy projects, he has acquired an extensive skill set, enabling him to effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders within the scope of the program.

Good to know: The name “Blue Chip" derives from the commonly used term in finance. It describes a large, trusted, and well-recognized corporation listed on a stock exchange.
